Thank you for your interest in our products, both designed and crafted by a team of refugee women, displaced by conflict and connected by design. 

In collaboration with a Greek designer, the process of both designing and making these products has helped women to acquire new skills, build new relationships, and start to heal and recover from trauma. We recognise that economic empowerment builds women’s resilience and that enabling women to earn their own income helps reduce their vulnerability to exploitation and abuse. Financial independence can provide women with more choices in life and with every purchase you are investing in women’s economic empowerment, and ultimately their safety and resilience.

All proceeds from your purchase will go right back into The Pomegranate Project to ensure we can continue to operate and reach more refugee and asylum-seeking women with skills training, Greek language courses, mental health and psychosocial support, safe long-term housing, and sustainable sources of income which harness their existing skills, talents and passions.
