WANTED: ART THERAPISTS
We’re looking for volunteer art therapists who are passionate about using creative expression as a tool for healing, connection, and empowerment. If you believe in the transformative power of art, we’d love for you to join us on Fridays to contribute to our psychosocial support activities where women gather to dance, heal, and grow through creative activities in our safe space.
Whether through painting, collage, or mixed media, your creativity can help create a space for exploration and recovery.
When and Where:
Fridays at the Pomegranate Project (whether you're in for regular sessions or specific collaborations, let’s work around your schedule!)
What You’ll Be Doing (Art Therapy with a Purpose!):
Offer structured or exploratory art therapy sessions to help women process emotions and experiences through visual expression.
Foster a sense of agency, safety, and self-worth through creativity.
Promote interpersonal connection and shared experience by encouraging group creativity.
Create a space for creative freedom and imagination where women can explore and heal.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified art therapist with experience in trauma-informed practices.
Strong interest in women’s issues;
Sensitivity to intercultural dynamics and a commitment to creating inclusive and respectful spaces for all participants.
If you're coming from abroad, just a heads-up — you’ll need to be self-funded and able to stay for a minimum of two months. We promise, it’ll be worth it!
Flexibility! Whether you prefer regular sessions or specific collaborations, we’re happy to accommodate your schedule.
If you're ready to bring the power of art and creative expression to Community Fridays, we’d love to hear from you! Get in touch via our General Volunteer Form and tell us how your art therapy skills can make a real impact.
