Colettes inspiration behind her pattern design was a Congolese mask, set against a romantic pink, portraying femininity and an expression of her culture. The cultural significance of African masks is ubiquitous worldwide: the concept of transformation is essential to their meaning where donning a mask and costume and performing in a masquerade with music, words and ritual, changes the performer into an ideal of feminine beauty, a personification of power, or a spiritual being.

Eco-friendly packaging made from recycled paper .

Our hand-made goods help refugee and asylum-seeking women in Greece who are survivors of gender-based violence, both share their stories and build their livelihoods.
