"color:#4d5156">The word Soraya is derived from the Arabic name for the Pleiades, the 7 stars cluster. In Greek mythology, the "color:#5f6368">Pleiades are seven sisters, and daughters of Atlas - who were turned into stars by Zeus.
While stars are single and separate from each other, the Pleiades stand apart from nearly everything else in the night sky by being clustered together, making it one of the brightest star clusters.
Like single stars in the night sky, the women came together and connected despite their different cultures, backgrounds and language barriers, producing this stunning pattern. Soraya commemorates harmony, strength and sisterhood.
